Also known as Nocturnal sunshine, Maya Jane Coles was born in London. Maya Jane Coles’s age is 34 years old. Born in 1988, her known parent is Mike Coles. There is very little information on Maya Jane Coles, but she was very close to her parents. She is of Japanese descent and has been creating music under her real name and her music name Nocturnal Sunshine.

Maya Jane Coles started producing music in her teenage days, learning to produce music with different software. When she was 15, she produced her first hip-hop and trip-hop. A few years down the lane, Maya released her first records on Dogmatic Records, which were house music based. She has already remixed several acts, namely massive attacks, etc. Maya Jane Coles NYC became viral and gained a breakthrough in 2010 when she got her four-track EP relapsed on Franck Roger’s label.
In 2011, she was featured in several magazines, such as mix mag. BBC radio invited Maya Jane Coles to have her record an essential mix of her very own, which helped her get nominated for an essential mix of the year 2011. Maya Jane Coles’s mix and Maya Jane Coles’s album later helped her win the best newcomer 2011 at the Ibiza DJ awards that year.

In 2012, she won the best house/garage/deep house track at the Miami winter music conference 2012. Later that year, Maya Jane Coles’s studio was invited to record an amazing mix with DJ Kicks collection, which was released in April and got much love resulting in getting placed at number 15 on the list of the world’s 25 most influential DJs.

She was again invited to record a second BBC Radio essential mix in 2013. She also made several new albums, including ice Fabric 75, which featured itself in the 75th edition of London nightclub Fabric’s fabric monthly compilation album.

In 2017, Maya Jane Coles released her second album under her own label, receiving immense support and around 72% score on the Metacritic, gaining popularity from high-tier publications like Mix mag.
She continued her concerts gaining more and more likeability, and the Maya Jane Coles’s concert helped her not only gain fans but the best album and best producer at the DJ Mag best British awards 2017.
In 2017, the Maya Jane Coles tour gained a number of mix placements, such as the essential mix. She recorded and got shortlisted as the essential mix of the year. A year later, she got British Airways exclusive mix, adding her full album to flights. In 2020 she got a collaborative track with Lady Gaga.
